This is the absolute minimum course for people who are already regular summer hill walkers who wish to continue walking on the winter mountains. It is an introduction to, or revision of, the basic essential skills needed for enhancing your safety on the winter hills.

Carbon Conservation - Give Something Back
Support the C-N-Do Scotland Carbon Conservation project and contribute to the reduction of the CO2 and Carbon released from your day to day travel by improving the natural Carbon reservoirs of Scotland.
- 1 day instruction with a qualified Winter Mountain Leader
- Transport from and back to Stirling to a suitable practice location
- Free use of ice axe, crampons and helmet
Start time at C-N-Do office: 08:00
Finish time at C-N-Do office: Early - mid evening
Depart Stirling early morning and travel to nearest suitable location. Pratical day on the hill. Return to Stirling late afternoon / early evening.
