C-N-Do Scotland Guided Day walks & activities

Guided day walks and day activities in Scotland

From gentle coastal strolls to high tops our guided day walk programme has a walk to suit you. Some of our walks are circular routes, some end to end linear routes and others aim for the mountain summits. All walks are graded to assist you in choosing one appropriate for you.

All walks are led by a qualified, experienced and knowledgeable leader. Our group sizes are small (typically 4 – 12 walkers) so you can be sure of personal attention from the leader and a quality outdoor experience.

Meeting Place/Time:

Except where stated, all our day walks meet at Stirling railway station (option to meet at our office in Stirling also available) in the morning and return there again in the early evening. Private mini-bus transport from Stirling to the walk location is included in the price of your day walk. Meeting times are typically between 0730 and 0900 depending on how far we have to travel.

What To Bring With You:

Please see our daywalk equipment list for more details of what you need to bring with you on the day.The success of the day may depend upon how well equipped you and other members of the group are. Please bring with you (or hire from us) all items listed as essential. Please note the additional items required for winter grade 4 walks.

Grading Scheme:

This grading for our daywalks and day activities is a general indication. If you'd like to check further, please contact us.

  • Grade 1 Easy pace, flattish terrain
  • Grade 2 Undulating ground, some off path
  • Grade 3 Moderate pace, lumpy
  • Grade 4 Hilly, possibly rough, purposeful
  • Grade 5 As 4 plus good head for heights and hands frequently required for balance
