C~N~Do Scotland Guided Day walks & short breaks
From gentle coastal strolls to high tops our guided day walk programme has a walk to suit you. Some of our walks are circular routes, some end to end linear routes and others aim for the mountain summits. All walks are graded to assist you in choosing one appropriate for you.
All walks are led by a qualified, experienced and knowledgeable leader. Our group sizes are small (typically 4 – 12 walkers) so you can be sure of personal attention from the leader and a quality outdoor experience.
Except where stated, all our day walks meet at Stirling railway station (option to meet at our office in Stirling also available) in the morning and return there again in the early evening. Private mini-bus transport from Stirling to the walk location is included in the price of your day walk. Meeting times are typically between 0730 and 0900 depending on how far we have to travel.
If you feel a full day's walk may be too much for you, take a look at our Heritage Walks. These are full days out with a half day walk followed by a visit to a local heritage centre / historical site (entry price not included).
You need to bring your own walking equipment (hiring from us is usually possible if you are short of any item) and packed lunch/drinks for the day. The success of the day may depend upon how well equipped you and other members of the group are, so please do ensure you have all the essential items listed below.
Due to our small groups (sometimes a maximum of 6) our walks can book up very quickly so we recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. You can do this securely online or by phoning our office during office hours. Payment is required at the time of booking. If you need to cancel, provided you give us 5 working days notice, a refund will be made. Once we receive a confirmed booking from you, we will advise you of the meeting time at Stirling.
If none of our scheduled walks suit the days you have available or you wish to do something different, we are also able to offer a private guiding service. You will pay a bit more but you will have the day tailored to your own aspirations and the services of one of our guides to yourself.
